Synopsis:
Client was accused of beating up a woman in a bar and robbing her of $600 cash. The alleged victim and an eye witness testified. The state introduced photographs to verify her injuries. The jury also heard testimony regarding Client’s affiliation with a well-known international motorcycle gang. The defense called a number of witnesses, including Client and a woman who was involved in a bar fight with the victim earlier that evening. The witness’s physician also testified that he treated her for a human bite on her arm that evening (she suffered the bite injury in her brawl with the alleged victim of the robbery).
Verdict:
Not guilty on both counts.
